Introducing TEAM, INC.: Enriching Lives, Inspiring Hope, and Providing Support

Welcome to TEAM, INC. We are a passionate team of Individual and Family Social Services supporters who understand the importance of inspiring hope and helping people to live with dignity and security. Based in Mississippi, our mission is to enrich lives by providing hope, and support to needy individuals and families.

At TEAM, INC., we are committed to providing exceptional service. We believe in building long-term relationships and strive to go above and beyond to ensure our clientele’s satisfaction. Our team is available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

TEAM, INC. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit charitable organization, founded on May 2, 2003, Registered with the State of Mississippi and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), that operate a Food Pantry and Homeless Shelter.

TEAM, INC. gives supportive assistance to low-income citizens and has been providing much needed services to needy individuals right here in our local community within the Port Gibson/Claiborne County area, for a number of years helping them to remain independent as long as possible. The number of people whose life is affected each year increases and our services are needed more and more.

MISSION STATEMENT

To develop, test, and promote tools and models, whereas providing services to a community of persons where:
TEAM, INC. are committed to a food pantry, quality emergency shelter, outreach advocacy, and transitional housing programs; for children, families, elderly, Veterans, women, and substance abusers.
Through comprehensive assistance programs, TEAM, INC. seeks to restore its participants’ personal dignity and independence. TEAM, INC. actively promotes community responsive and the networking of resources which will provide creative solutions to the problem of poverty in a holistic mode of empowerment.

THROUGH COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, TEAM, INC. SEEKS TO RESTORE ITS PARTICIPANTS’ PERSONAL DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENCE!
TEAM, INC. ACTIVELY PROMOTES COMMUNITY RESPONSIVE, AND THE NETWORKING OF RESOURCES WHICH WILL PROVIDE CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS OF HOMELESSNESS AND POVERTY IN A HOLISTIC MODE OF EMPOWERMENT!
TEAM, INC. IS VERY PROUD OF OUR MEMBERSHIP, OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, AND MANY FRIENDS. IT PROVES THAT WITH A LOT OF HARD WORK, PRAYERS, CAREFUL PLANNING, AND KIND HEARTS, “TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE."!!!!!!!!!!
THE ISSUE AT HAND NOW IS TO FIND WAYS TO CONTINUE TO SERVE OUR CLIENTS!
AS TEAM, INC. CONTINUES TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND OUR SERVICES, WE FIND THAT OUR LARGEST NEED IS TO KEEP THE FOOD PANTRY STOCKED WITH FOOD FOR OUR CLIENTS!
WE AT TEAM, INC. ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO KEEP OUR FOOD PANTRY STOCKED SO THAT WE CAN MEET OUR CLIENTS’ NEEDS!
ALTHOUGH WE ARE SERVICING MANY INDIVIDUALS, SOMETIMES IT SEEMS THAT WE ARE BARLEY SCRAPING THE SURFACE!
HELPING IS WHAT WE DO BEST AT TEAM, INC. WE'LL KEEP DOING SO, AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!
NO LOOKING BACKWARD, MORE CHALLENGES AHEAD THAT INCLUDES SECURING THE PROPERTY TEAM, INC. NOW OWNS TO ESTABLISH A FLEA MARKET, A FARMERS’ MARKET, MAINTENANCE OF TEAM, INC.’S 60 ACRES OF LAND & IMPROVEMENTS, CONSTRUCT A NEW 60 ROOM EMERGENCY SHELTER, CONSTRUCT A NEW 2000 SQUARE FEET FOOD PANTRY, CONSTRUCT A WELLNESS AND FITNESS PARK, TEACHING YOUNG CHILDREN HOW TO FISH FOR FOOD ON TEAM, INC.’S POND, TEACHING YOUNG CHILDREN HOW TO PLANT AND GROW GARDENS FOR FOOD AND HEALTHY LIVING ON TEAM, INC.’S PROPERTY, RENOVATE EMPTY BUILDINGS THAT WILL CREATE JOBS, AND TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THESE NEEDED AND WORTHWHILE PROJECTS!
